PUTTY DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 8.1 UPDATE
Windows 8.1 Update 1 is set to bring forth numerous new changes and improvements to Windows 8.1, with quite a few improvements for those on a non-touch device. Rumors have suggested this update will roll out during the April 2014 Patch Tuesday, which takes place April 8th. These download links might even disappear soon, and reappear when the update is ready to roll out officially. Is Microsoft testing the update process in preparation for the April 8th delivery? That's what it seems like. It appears Microsoft has opened up the download again, but for unknown reasons. Obviously, we can't mention the download links in the article, but you can just do a couple of searches or check out our previous story on the three ways to obtain the download. Or even if it is, there is no guarantee that it includes all parts of it. Since Microsoft hasn't officially confirmed it, we are not sure if it is indeed the Spring 2014 Update, also known as Update 1. As Neowin reports, the download links are now working again. However, within hours, the devices and services giant pulled the download links. Earlier this month, Microsoft accidentally put the upcoming Windows 8.1 Update 1, aka “Spring 2014 Update” on its servers.
